Mirror with Fringes

The mirrors of the Couture Collection lead the use of fringes and chromatic experimentation towards a sculptural style, in material experimentation played on chromatic articulations.
They are small wall-mounted architectures that evoke the transparency and composure of modernist architecture, introducing the use of colors that play on saturated, tinted reflections. The line of Couture mirrors is thus found in the coincidences between the designs, in the lines combining the suspension of the fringes with the solidity of the geometric composition. It is in the reflections, in the colors circumscribed by the brass-plated metal profiles, that Lorenza Bozzoli rethinks the fringes as a sculptural material, playing on the formal qualities, the line, and on its chromatic continuity.

Gli specchi della Couture Collection conducono l'uso delle frange e la sperimentazione cromatica verso uno stile scultoreo, in una sperimentazione materica giocata sulle articolazioni cromatiche.
Sono piccole architetture a parete, che evocano la trasparenza e la compostezza delle architetture moderniste, introducendo un uso delle cromie che gioca su riflessi saturi, colorati. La linea degli specchi Couture si ritrova così nelle coincidenze tra i disegni, nelle linee che conciliano la sospensione delle frange con la solidità della composizione geometrica.
E' nel gioco dei riflessi, nei cromatismi circoscritti dai profili in metallo ottonato, che le frange
vengono ripensate come materiale scultoreo, giocando sulle qualità formali, la linea e sulle continuità cromatiche.
